Here’s my 3 week guide to learning Pinterest for Business… for your (creative) business. And now I’d like to share my “ I’m canceling Instagram and moving over to Pinterest” adventure with you. I shared them with my email list, while many (and I mean MANY) people joined in the journey. I went from Stanley on Stair Mountain, to Michael post-”the works”-pretzel day, real quick.Įqually surprising? I actually kept a bit of a journal of my experiences and learnings, week over week. And I spent less time on this new strategy than I would have spent on creating Instagram content. In fact, over the course of 3 short weeks (during the holidays, might I add!), I learned how to grow my business, and market and sell my services and digital products on Pinterest.

Not at all as a necessity.īut then push came to shove, and the final nail was driven into the, “ I really hate using social media for business” coffin - and alas, I found myself on a rampage: I decided to learn how to grow and market my business, services, and digital products, via Pinterest for Business.Īnd because I’m, well, me and know no semblance of balance when it comes to learning new things and trying to overcome the confusion of learning new things, I threw myself into it head first. Prior to December of 2021, I looked at Pinterest as an *additional* tool that my business could *potentially* try out.
